Have you ever seen an 1802 that looks like this before!? Because I hadn't until I saw this one.
I think it looks so cool! Look at that big power button on the side, how unique! I have since learned that there is another Commodore revision that looks very similar to this one, the Commodore Cm-141, but this 1802 is unique in that it's a different color.
After owning this monitor, opening it up, and using it, I'm confident it's a very low hour tube. It's crazy sharp for what it is. Also, I've been inside a lot of 1802, 1702, and 1701 monitors, at least 20, and I've never seen one use a CR23 neck tube, they all typically use CR31. I know that doesn't mean anything to most people, but I will say that higher quality sets more often than not use the fatter CR23 neck. It may just be a coincidence and not mean anything, but I wanted to mention it.
There's a big clear piece of plastic that goes over the front of the screen, so the glass inside is pristine. The clear plastic piece does have some marks on it, which I'm not sure you can see clearly in the photos, so I just wanted to make that clear.
The image on this set looks so nice. It has such a classic arcade look, and the fact it supports Composite, and S video is a huge plus. The S video input uses separate Chroma and Luma. I actually used my mister to send it S video, and it worked beatifully!
