Many would argue this is the best 14" Crt. Period!
What makes this monitor so special is that it not only uses the highest line count tube that Sony offers, but it also accepts a wide range of resolutions. 240P to 1080i to be exact. It's extremely uncommon to find monitors that can accept 240p, 480p and 720p so the fact that this one can, and it uses the best tube available, makes it the cream of the crop!
And oh my goodness is it! This monitor has got to be the sharpest sets I have ever seen. And it maintains super sharpness across the entire screen, even if you crank the contrast up to 100! Which is just incredible!
Some of the early released 14L5 models were plagued with a problem with linearity, but this one does not have that. I tested it thoroughly, and it has the best linearity I've ever seen in a monitor. This means shapes stay the same size as they move across the screen. It's just perfect!
Super bright, super sharp, and you can play all your consoles perfectly on it. That's it. As good as it gets!
The Mario Sunshine, and Soul Calibur photos are in 480p, all the other pics are in 240p.
